CCB @ LSR on OCTOBER, 5TH

"Good Morning Racers and Fans!
To say the least, the weather has not been very kind to our CCB events! The good news is that we have had a schedule change for the first weekend in October. We had the Harleys originially scheduled for Saturday, October 5th. That changed this week. The first thing that popped in our mind was the CCB'ers. So we have added another CCB for Saturday, October 5th. This is for the one that was rained out in September. So please spread the word, put it on the message boards, let your members know that we have worked in another CCB in 2 weeks.

Both the CCB, on October 5th and October 12th, will have a gate time of 5:00. Even though you all know we open a bit earlier but that's the 'posted' time.

all i can say is that ima be pissed if i cant run at both of em. its come down to hookin up tha shift linkage, puttin tranny fluid in and setting tha timing.:)

/me needs to decide which ones he can make and miss. Thats just way to much cash outflow for one month.

Don't forget that Clash of the Titans is on the 26th for those of you who want to run it. Be sure to factor that into your racing time and budget. I for one have no idea which events I'll make, Sealy is 88 miles from my door, and I really want to try to run in COTT.

I cant afford both CCB's, COTT, then 2 CCB's in November.

I plan on running the CCB on the 5th. Cristina is off that weekend.

I might be able to do the CCB on the 5th, and I'm definitely planning on COTT on the 26th. But that's about all the racing I can squeeze into Oct.

Turns out my HS 10 year reunion is the same day as COTT. I guess I won't be making this COTT. But that means I should be able to make both CCB's. By the responses I see, looks like I may be the only one making the Sept 12th CCB LOL.

I may not be at the Oct5th one afterall. I'll be going to the Renaisance (sp..too lazy to fix it) Festival. We should be leaving around 3pm from there, so I will be late, if I go. Doesn't matter since I'm only watching again.

Cool! I'm off on the 5th. Will be ther (baring any unfoseen BS) If weather is right, may even run... I'm going to go talk my wife into coming this time.. Sadly, she's not into racing much, and doesn't really understand it.
Was going to go today after work just to hang out, but decided to go to fire dept training. later all and look forward to finaly meeting some of y'all. Hope weather is nice and cool. Want to try and get some better #'s before modifying car. ( warranty is expired, time for some bolt ons!)

Ps, I'll be in a black '99 Z28, fire dept sticker under rear license plate.

Sorry to take so long to reply... was gonna surf the 'net tonight, but am worn out... had a bad call on FD today after work... Spent 8 hrs in a field (sp?) fighting a fire.. am ready to crash now... As long as something unexpected doesn't come up, will def be there for the CCB ( with wife and little girl in tow) Daughter wants a jr dragster ( she is only 7) is that cool or what? I usually park under grandstands (when not racing) or by the fuel tanks when racing....I really hope to be out there, so I can meet some of you POMOFO's ( have to lol... am def a pomofo, too many projects, never enough time/money)

Looks like we may get lucky and actually have a race that weather won't spoil....I can say this because Rick already brought it up. :D If I was the first to mention it, knowing my luck, half of Southeast Texas would be underwater.
