Well, Brent's carburetor along with a thousand more rpm on the converter got me a new best tonight, even in the heat. First pass off the trailer!

1.44 sixty
6.32
108.5 mph

That my friends times 1.57 equals a 9.92 pass in the 1/4 on motor and 90 degrees heat outside.

On the nitrous, I think the converter is going to be OK. I ran a 5.96@118.5 on the first pass, not quite hitting the nitrous until right at the sixty foot which was a 1.42.
Next pass I went a 1.37 sixty foot, I can't be certain, but I think it was with the back tires. Went a 3.85 at half track, but my dumba$$ forgot to put the hood pins in and the hood blew up!!! Windshield is trashed, frame work on windshield is bent and hood is messed up pretty bad. It was on a killer pass!

So I need a 4" cowl hood, new windshield and some body work!

Will a 2.5" not work? I have my lift-off 2.5" Harwood I'm looking to sell.

Not enough clearance for carburetor unless I put a small scoop on it.

Another good reason as to why I like pin on hoods. Hate that that happened Carl. Was that 1.37 on motor?

I would be tickled if it was on motor, but no it was on the juice, kind of one reason I think it was on the back tires. It went 1.34 last month with the front tires, barely pulling a wheelie. It wheelied nice this time, just a smooth come up and carry and not very high, maybe a foot or so, but it didn't yank the front up, just came up smooth and carried. I think the hood flew up just before the 330' because I saw cones when the hood was up, then saw the cones at the end of the track as I went through the finish on the brakes.

Get this, I went a 7.90@32 mph on the brakes through the traps LOL.
