I've talked to Scott (via email) before. He bought his Maverick from a guy in Dallas a few months back. I was in the running for buying it, but by the time I (finally) got he money up, Scott had already bought it.

He seems like a good guy. Hell, he drives a MAVERICK...it means he MUST be a good guy! :D

His name is Doug. He is the one who I.D.'d my Maverick as a first-year Grabber (Grabber Green in fact).

I got underneath his Maverick at the Quality Inn at FFW Houston last year and 'fixed' his linkage (wouldnt' go into reverse). I kinda half-way rigged it so he could make it home. He told me recently he didn't have anymore work done to it and it's STILL working! LOL! Amazing what you can do with a worn-out pair of vice-grips and a screw driver!

pRick wanted to go, but was on-call at work. If I had my car running, I'da found a way to go. It's just not as much fun when you're not a participant (albeit the booze, friends, and booze is nice!).
