Made a trip to San Antonio today. I consider myself a history buff and I have already taken Lance to the Battleship Texas and San Jacinto. So I took a couple of day off and decided to spend one at the Alamo. I hadnt been in 30 some odd years. I dont remember so many tourist traps around it. We went to the Texas Ranger Meusem while we were there also. It was definately worth the trip and Lance learned alot while we were there. It also puts the pride of being a Texan back in you when you leave. Well atleast it did me.

Lance thought it would be cool to give the Bear and "Bear Paw" hit.

For Some reason he thought the Long Horn needed one too. He didnt touch it though.

LOL...cool pics. I was in SA recently with the family and we had planned to go to the Alamo, but never made it. I tried to get my wife to at least drive by it on the way home, but she nixed that idea as she wanted to get home.

We hit SA a few years ago and did the Alamo, Riverwalk, and Sea World with the kids. Fun town...

I had many a drunken adventure in SA as a new Air Force recruit. :)
