Got a call from my boss today letting me know he's shutting down the houston branch of our company effective tomorrow. So I'm out on my ass after that.
He's had the business up for sale for about a year with no buyers, and there's not enough money coming in to keep it going.
As some may know, I'm attending school for the pipefitters union, and PRAY I get a job offer soon. I'm glad I have at least a foot in the door for another job.
But I'm actually excited about it. I can finally have a normal looking truck again, and my weekly gas and EZTag bill will go down. I'll still repair or replace garage doors if you guys know anyone needing it done though. I may keep the rack to transport the really long stuff.
