just checking out what you people are up to....will be done with this nuke on the 25th of sept and back home for 2 days and then back on the road to anythere nuke plant...damn i love my job :burnout:

I was flying into Harrisburg, PA a few years back and on our descent, noticed an island, hmmm...I guessa about 3 miles long. There were three reactors - one of 'em was void of any activity (unlike the others).

I looked at the guy next to me and before I could get the question out, he said, "Yes, that's Three Mile Island" (obviously we'd landed in his home town).

Just weird to see the same perspective view I'd seen on the tube years ago.

I understand they've gone back in now? Cris would know. She knows everything like that. :D

have not gotten no dose as of yet...but i will pick some up tommrow cause we have one more weld we have to shearwave...i think it is like 8mrem hr or something..not real big....but the good the thing is tommrow is my last day...then home for 5 days and then to glen rose texas to do another nuke...damn i love my job :razz:

Oooh... the accident at Three Mile Island... too bad it was over 20 years ago, we can't blame that one on Blue306lx. :D

that was plant person that messed up on that.....but i picked up 0 dose and i am back home...left at 4am and and got home at 11pm...damn that was a drive.....
