My guess was '77 based on the amber turn signal lights, '76 had clear lights, but they obviously "updated" the old '74 to a more modern appearance! (My Dad had a 76 SWB Flareside, grandfather had a 77) Looks good Ken!

Update
Well, I thought a stuck valve was bending the push rods. Old gas is bad about seizing valves. But is turned out to be a flat cam. I pulled the motor and the cylinder had a ridge. Not only that the 360 motor had 7-360 rods and one 390 rod (1/8 shorter). I ended-up taking the original 390 out of the old wagon and redoing the motor. Block was bored, deck plate honed, decked, and line-honed. New TRW hypereutectic pistons, crank turned 0.010. Hard seats in heads comp 268 cam, adjustable valve train, streetmaster intake yada, yada, yada. Motor got in today and I need to button her up tomorrow. The gantry crane sure is nice putting in the motor. You can be under he truck and still lower the motor with great precision.

I don't think this is what they mean by an EDM oiling hole

Those pushrods are frowning, not smiling.

Ken, the spark plugs are all crooked and the valve cover is covering part of the intake.
Shoddy mechanic work much?

It lives!!! Brakes suck. My drive from the county road to the house is ~2200 ft. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have been hot-rodding the truck considering the sheriff patrol supervisor and the local JP live right next to me.

Need to get the brakes fixed, do some interior work, get it inspected etc.

First motor in about 4-5 yrs. First motor in the new place.
