Repeat after me.. NINE POINT TWO!! This aint yo momma's 351w boys and girls!!!

The latest news on this mythical motor is from the intake development department at Frazier Racing.

EDIT - Ok I got busted. This isn't from the Intake Development Department (IDD) at Frazier Racing. It's from the accounts payable department at Frazier Racing! :) The IDD is run by Mills Racing. :D

Interesting...

hmm...are those welded bungs used to inspect the internal surfaces of the intake and head? Great idea!

Interesting, VERY interesting...

(nice!)

Rick,
I believe those are for cleaning the bottom of the valves and top of the piston as carbon builds up.

Hell of an idea.

Those bungs are so I can drop pea size bits of metal down them in order to wreck havoc on an smooth running engine. ;)

Or are they outlets for the pieces of shrapnel you'll create at 18psi?

That's a nice looking piece Ben. It would be a tad nicer though if it had some of this too!!

Whoops! Looks like 'Frazier Racing' got busted! :D

Nice work Jim! Is this something you do on the side? What is an average price and turn-around on something like that? (PM is fine...)...

/me thinks 'hmmmm...'

Hehe Ben didn't think I'd be looking here :D

Yep, side stuff. Actually these are the first two I've done in a while, so they have been a little slow (trackin down materials etc.). I can turn one in about 3 weeks now. I can convert them for $300 plus shipping.

Does that include the rails? If so, very good!

Hmmm, $500 TFS or add $300 to my Vic. Jr...

Yes Rails included, and they are tapped for o-ring fittings.

FYI,

Probe was running a special on their elbows for $150 instead of $190 a couple of weeks back.

Did you buy the elbow Ben? Got any pics? I was thinking of making one, but it might not be worth the time...

Very nice work Jim! I may have to get in touch with you when I get a couple of things sorted out...

Thanks guys!

Yeah I bought one. I don't have any pics of it by itself, but it's that huge cast elbow that Coast puts on their Spyder intakes.
