I have a new 347 that seems to have alot of crank case pressure. I have both valve covers with breathers and drop tubes. No pcv in the intake Victor 5.0 dont have a spot for one. I've had to wire my oil dip stick to the tube due to it constantly blowing out and spewing oil.
I'm lost and fustrated at this point.

It sounds like an awful lot of blow-by for a fresh motor. A leak down and/or compression check would be a good start...

Steve,
I run a super victor intake on my car with no provision for a pcv as well. I see some vapor out of the valve cover breathers but its not pushing oil out of the seals or dipstick. Like the guys above posted, I would do a leakdown and see where you are getting the excess crankcase pressure from.

taking the car over to Ross House tomorrow so he can run through it. I'm thinking the rings are trashed, we'll see.
I'll keep you all up to date, thanks for the input.

I'll tell him you said hello Fred, I think he got more bad news from the docs last week about his cancer. The guy really needs the support of his old school running buddys at this point.
