In car vid from TXDRL last night

Went out in the first round of 6.60, -.06 redlight. Ran a 6.48 @ 106 and change. 1.42 60' time. Just got a GoPro wide angle camera and this was my first attempt at an in car video. It's a whole lot different driving vs. watching this.

It's funny how quiet the car is at idle, yet all hell breaks loose at WOT. Nice pass! What kind of trans do you have? It looks like you are just kicked back and out for a Sunday drive once about half track.

Shane, I believe he is running a Turbo 400 in the car. I could be wrong though.

I do have a TH400 trans - which has been great. After tearing up several 5 speeds and clutches, I put the auto in about 4 years ago. It has not been out since. It was the best move I ever made to make the car more consistent.

Ben - I cruised my cart around the pits once looking for you to say whats up. Didn't see where you were parked. I saw you make one early hit, but that was it between hanging in the pits and bailing out of there early after I went out first round.

The turnout was pretty good and the event was run well IMO. I'll try to make it again next month. Definitely going to the S&S race on 4/4.

Nice car. Wonder if you can get a muffle or something for the camera mic? It definitely does not like loud noises.

I see that now - LOL - but I didn't notice him there when I rolled up to the lanes. I never got out of my car - they pulled us out right away.

These cameras have 2 sound settings - I had it on low. And - it is enclosed in a plastic housing that should muffle the sound a bit. I agree it was loud as hell when I decked it. I'm gonna try mounting the camera outside the car next time out - should be interesting.

Sounds good Troy - I guess you won't be ready for "Battle of the Brands"? I really hate to say it, but it looks like FFW is going down in flames. I predict they will pull the plug soon - I don't see them finishing this season. I probably won't even bother with it this year. Between S&S and this new TXDRL deal, we can race twice a month anyway.

Yea no BotB for me. Even if the car was ready I didn't plan on racing. I plan to get her dialed in for S&S and whatever else I can get into.
