Didn't add any content (don't have any right now) but I updated the page to match the rest of the site.

http://www.pomoforacing.com/index.php?pageid=Tech

Please check it out and give feedback. Also, if you have anything to submit, please let me know. It'd be cool to fill that thing up but I know we all have limited time. :)

Not many views or comments. I'm guessing only the people who use the "New Posts" feature see that this thread was made in this forum category. lol.

No sir, I saw it last night and like the layout! I need to get after some more stuff...

Anything you guys would care to see? Do you like the 'how to make' stuff or the how to do stuff better? I lot of the stuff I've done in the past has been through posts (shop press as an example), but can convert to a tech article if you like...

A couple that I've searched for documentation on recently -

Line Lock install including wiring

Elec. Fan writeup.. Specifically using the larger relays.

I like both ways Nay. I'd say it all depends on the content.

Yeah, I've referred back to the old line lock post many times now. The electric fan one is a good one too.

Todd,

I plan to install a linelock in the wagon and wire it through the cruise off again; will try and get some better pictures/PN's/etc and do a write-up for it...

Looks good Fred. I don't have anything to add to it though. Maybe I can document some of the work on my car and can make a how to article out of it.

Mike,

If you decide to do that, I (and many others) can convert it to .pdf for posting...

Nay - Ya, I just did mine and thought about it after the fact. Of course, it might have been for the better since mine only engages when I hit the cruise on button and on top of that, the horn blows at the same time. We're guessing the clock spring may be shot and causing the problems.

Sounds like you have the wrong lead spliced there Todd; the cruise 'off' completes a ground; I have the schematic I marked up somewhere upstairs; want me to scan it?

We've confirmed it's the correct wire.. I believe light blue with black stripe. Only other thing we can think of is the clock spring..

Wait..Woody has cruise?? Holy shit!! :)

I totally missed this thread the first time around.... I agree on the Line Lock and E-Fan - seems like I'm looking both of those up fairly frequently.

Well, Woody is wired for cruise; not sure if all the parts are there in the engine, LOL! Actually, it's a pretty decently-optioned car, for a turd... :D

Sorry to hear Todd; can you locate a clockspring and nail it down?

Fred, I saw it and was going to comment that it seems Otis is pretty busy writing docs.
Looks nice!
