Please use this post to give comments/requests based on the latest updates to the site.

I am working on some stuff but it will take time.

If you have a problem with images, links, etc, let me know what it is, the link to the img you can't see, and if possible, the STYLE you're viewing the site with.

Also, please post suggestions on what you'd like to see on the site.

Thanks,

Rusman

Fred -

One thing I just noticed. You were testing the friend requests, picture comments, group stuff, etc.

These notifications do not show up with the condensed welcome screen. Not until I go into an actual forum or choose new posts do I get the notification..

Just an fyi.

I have no idea what you mean, haha. Delete me from your friends then "add" me so I can see what you're talking about.

Btw, just for you... I added an updated Hardwire theme (only through vb3.5 but looks to be working to me). Let me know if you see any issues with it. Right now, I see that I need to make a "multi-quote" button. I'll do it when I get a chance.

Btw, logos are easy when people include the psd files with their themes. :)

I'm digging the Blacksmart theme, so don't kill yourself on the Hardwire.

focker. lol. It's ok though... it isn't hard to add new themes and I figure it gives the users numerous choices.

I just have to remember to add all of the various "hacks" to each theme since they don't all automatically work on each one.

Did you send me a "friend invite" thing so I could see what you mean?

Yes, and a user message. The notifications come the same as a pm, but they only show up when you are in a forum, not at the forum front.

Hmm, I just saw it and now I don't. It went away and I never clicked on it. Not sure how to get it to "come back" either, haha. As far as a PM, it doesn't pop up, right? I just saw it up at the top on the right. I can see why it wouldn't show up on the home forums page since the welcome panel is different.

In all honesty, not sure we'll have much use for the 'contacts & friends' since our forum is so small. It's almost like a "myspace" built-in to the forums. For huge forums like Corral or Turbomustangs, I can see it being much more useful. Not saying we can't use it, but I don't see it being super popular.

Forum skin is black and blue.

You can select your "theme" to be any way you want. Go to bottom of the screen (any screen) and on the left is a pulldown screen which allows you to choose which theme you want.

Think you missed reading some posts.. Time for some coffee... :)

Ahh, gotcha. When I clicked "go to latest posts", that's the one that popped up, so I didn't read above it, thinking it wasn't anything new. LOL.

Sorry!

Either way, it's good for folks to know how to set their theme.

I need to put up some quick blurb posts on how to set the theme, describe some of the new features (has anyone seen that PMs can be arranged by Topic, Username, and Date now), etc.

Btw, did you use the "multi-quote" feature to do your last reply? I really like it.

FAQ section would be perfect for that type of stuff. If I can ever get above water here at work, I'd be willing to help you with it. Drowning right now though.

Turning off the "me" hack until it's fixed so that it only changes to the username when it comes FIRST in the sentence.

Carl's post in the engine diaper thread made me realize it's not working correctly. it replaced "slash"melt with "white90gtlt."

Got a Private Message (from you, actually!) and I received the e-mail notification, but after logging into the site, I didn't get the pop-up window that says "You have a new PM. Open in New window?" or whatever it used to say.

Not a big deal and maybe it's not supposed to work, but just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for all the hard work - the place looks swell!

Weird. Your profile is set to popup when you get a PM. I got the popup when I logged in and got your PM reply. Let me send another one to test.
