Okay guys making changes to the car again. Putting in a G-Force 5 speed and making a wheel change, what backspacing should i use on a 95 GT and a 15x10 wheel 6.5 or 7.5 any good info would be appreciated.

definitely NOT 7.5". i would think 5.5" on a sn95. the wheel tubs are a lot wider than foxes.

15x10 w/ 6.5 for the SN95. Darrell will likely chime in confirming this when he sees it.

Yes, 6.5" on a 10" wheel is most common on SN95s just like on earlier cars.

I run 6.5" on my '02. Fit is perfect IMO. I have an extra set with 28x10.5 slicks mounted sitting in the garage if you want to try a trial fit.
7.5" would no way clear the lower control arms - at least on my car. I run Steeda Hardcore lowers.
5.5" sticks out way too much - a buddy of mine ran 5.5" on his '01. It worked but looked pretty goofy IMO.

Yeah i knew 5.5 wasn't enough cause that's what i had with the 15x8 wheel and it didn't seem right to me, guess i'll order the 6.5 should work out better, thanks for the input guys I really appreciate it.

15x10 6.5" back space. Works like a charm, also note if you do run them, if you have cobra brakes out back, the caliper banjo bolt will need angle ground to clear.

I had 15x10s with 6.5" backspacing on my 95. Honestly, they couldn't have fit any better - the spacing in the wheelwell was perfect.
I ran a 275/60R15 MT DR with the fender lips rolled and the car lowered a lot and no rubbing at all.
I have a set of 15x10 wheels with a 6" backspacing if you would like to try something different than mentioned. They have 28x10.5-15 slicks on them and are not currently on the car.
