The term "Patriotic Act" is just another word-play. Why not call it "Everybody Gets Rich Act"? The nomenclature has no relevance to the content of the bill.

Now, as far as some goober watching what I do on the internet is concerned - I could care less.

Granted there can/will be misuse of the allowances that a government 'official' can do now.

As far as I'm concerned, if it helps prevent another 9/11 then I'm for it.

Overall, it doesn't bother me one bit.

i have no idea what yall are talkin about, but i figured i would throw in my $0.02 on people and tha gub-ment.....

in general, a person is smart, open-minded, level-headed, and aware of his/her suroundings(sp)....

when gathered in numbers, people are stupid, closed minded, and uncivil about damn near everything.

while i dont have much faith in the american government, i will say that this is the best damn country in the world, and will be for a very long time, even if big brother does reem us in the ass without the majority of the people realizing it. while i know it doesnt have much effect, i will continue to vote for those that i see fit to be in office in hopes that one day someone will come along and set everything straight.
