I ran the clobberthon tonight and managed my usual first round exit. The car seemed like it may just run a string of 6.20's tonight with 3 6.30X's in a row@109mph with 1.41-1.42 60fts. Well first round came around and the air temp dropped. Cool I thought the car likes cool air. I got in the right lane since my car 60ft'd better in the right lane. I cut a decent light .488vs.508 the next thing I know is I am looking at the sky. Well it lasted about 50 ft according to the video thats when it bogged and came back down. I ran a 6.39 to his peddling 6.35.

I did some testing afterwards and I tightened the front struts up one click and lowered the launch rpms down to 4800. That help but it still pulled the wheels quite a bit, and had a slight bog and it only ran a 6.32@108.99 that run. I added one more click to the struts and put the launch rpms back up to 5000 and see how it worked. The car pulled the wheels just a tad and set them right back down and was on a nice run. The last run was a 1.4160ft with a 6.29@109.33.

I am thinking the bogging is fuel related and may be coming out of the vent tube under hard acceleration and being so high in the air. I am gonna try and crossover hose to see if it helps. Anyone else have any ideas?

After talking to a few people on YB it may be fuel sloshing out of the vent tube. Gonna try putting a crossover tube on it and see if that fixes it. Heres the video from the first round.

Is the MPH on par with what you have been running, or did it pick up a bit more with the weather?
