just got a new intake and i am needing to know where to hook up the various vaccums and which ones to plug off
i am attaching a pic to show you what i have....

Use only the ports you need based upon what vacuum reference lines are being used for the intake that's currently on your car and block the rest off. This kid of project is just a "see what's in there and what needs to be done" kind of issue.

I think Ben's approach makes the most sense, since you may have to later a few things...
But for starters try a plug in #1, brake booster vacuum tree and line to #2, charcoal canister line to #3, PCV hoses (see the Cobra intake) to #4 ('tee') and #6 (90degree), and a plug in #5...

What is it going on? I can tell you for sure that on a 95-94 5.0L stang, you'll plug all three that face away from the firewall and use the three that face the firewall
Pictured is the stock piece...and where the vacuum lines go...

This is the Edelbrock piece, has same openings, basically. The three holes that face AWAY from the firewall get plugged, the three FACING the firewall get the vacuum fittings.
