The news probably blocked off time hoping it was going to be another Allison. When it wasn't, the reporting went downhill fast. One reporter was interviewing surfers who had been warned not to surf and did anyway

I think the heaviest hit was Galveston...but they don't count since they are right on the water anyway. ;)

yea, same here. all is good in tha sw/sugar land area, i think we got a grand totall of 1" of rain. lemme tell ya, i thought fer a second there we wer gonna have to bust out with tha pontoon boats and jet ski's.:rolleyes:

It's Sunday morning now. I just got back from sitting outside in the sun to have my morning coffee and pack of cigarettes. I return from getting a refill of coffee and damned if it didn't start raining again!

A nice day to cuddle up with myself and watch TV - or sleep - or eat and sleep - or meander around the house in my underwear, cowboy boots and hat. I think I really look good that way.

Glad to hear no one's been flooded out. I did see where there were some streets flooded south of Houston.

You guys (south of Houston) stay dry! If it gets too bad, you can always stay at Fred and Cristina's! Just tell 'em I sent ya. :D
