Official FFW Sign-up List!....Please Contribute!

OK folks! To tag along with Todd's post from a couple weeks ago, we need to get everyone who's interested in eating AT the track (and not spending a fortune!) to get signed up!

We've created a list below off the tops of our heads, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to add them by replying to this thread!

If you have already volunteered in the other thread, please re-volunteer by replying here. We hope to get more people signed up on this list and therefore spread the load a little.

Just as a testimonial for those who haven't had the experience of eating at the track:

Last year at Ennis FFW, I bought a 6" Subway sub, no chips, and a medium-sized drink for close to $10.00. And that was just for one "meal." At Houston FFW, we did a far less-organized version of this "pot-luck" and everyone spent roughly $15-$20 on food, drinks, etc for the whole weekend... Seeing how most of us will be there for Friday dinner, Saturday lunch/dinner/midnight snack, and Sunday...this should be a great way to do Ennis FFW in true PoMoFo fashion.

*edit*...FWIW, Wal-Mart has a pretty good deal on bottled water. A case (24) of 20oz plastic bottles for like $4.00. Can't remember the name brand, but I've bought them before and they taste....well...like water..LOL *edit*

I'll get a case of water and gatorade too. You can never have too much water at the track. I've also got a huge box of plasticware I'll bring. I can bring my grill, but it's a charcoal type. It's be a lot easier if somebody brought one out that uses propane.

Please please Brent bring your canopy again!!!

I was thinking of getting a couple of things of the prepackaged fajita meat, some onions to grill up, sour cream and some tortillas. Does this sound good to everyone for Friday night?

Hey Darrell, Im pretty sure I got about 6 cases of beer coming our way for FFW, maybe more. That should be enought to get a few of nice and drunked up. Ah the bennefits of being a Beer man!

For those that dun know me, Im John.. from north of denton.
Ive known fred and chris for a few years now, as well as a few others here.

I'll commit to 15# of burger patties, hot dawgs, and prolly bout 40 bunz. And all the coors that will fit in my cooler.

I'll be staying in Teague's room at super8... and racin my $1k, 245k mile 88Gt beater however it lasts... seems to be a solid lil mofo tho.

Needs anything else... I'll see what i can do.

John, I got the hotdogs covered and Nancy will have the buns for the hotdogs and burgers covered. I added you for 10lb of hamburger (Im down for the other 10lb) and your COORS. Grab a case of water from wallyworld and you'll be set!

We have one last request....COOLERS! We have lots of people bringing water, sodas, brewha, etc and we need to round up some coolers or else we're gonna be drinking warm beer!:fart:

Anyone care to volunteer to bring a couple large coolers? We'll take care of ice when we get there I guess....

Ok..... I've picked up the 10lb of burger, 3 dz hotdogs, and 2 12pks of water.

No one signed up for the sliced cheese for the burgers/dogs, so Cristina said she'd pick some up.
