I haven't really been keeping up, other than the propaganda that I see on the internet about Hillary and Obama. Based on what I've seen of those two, I wouldn't vote for either. Even if McCain is old, he'll probably do a better job than those two put together.
Obama hates white people, Hillary can't keep her husband from cheating LOL.
Other than the racial thing, I just don't think Obama will be able to get anything done.
Here is what we need to do:
Seal the damn borders! The country may have been founded by immigrants, but its full now and we need to concentrate on keeping our own stuff together and stop paying for all the social programs for people to come over here and jump on. I don't blame the immigrants for it, they're getting a free ride. Cut out the free-ride I say! If you don't go through the legal process to become an American Citizen, you aren't entitled to crap! Its my money going into social security and all these programs. I mean, I have already paid over $3300 in taxes this year out of money that I earned, where is it going? Into a damn welfare fund and paying for healthcare for illegals and bums who can't get a job and pay for their own crap. Even if my taxes were cut in half, there would still be enough money to pay for the police, government, and social security. Cut out welfare and other similar programs. As far as Medicaid, you have to be a registered citizen to get it and you have to pay a percentage of the cost of care, or you're gonna have to work it off somehow!
OK, Tantrum off LOL.

I'm going to agree with Joe...it's too far gone and we are all fucked.
If I vote it will be for McCain for the simple fact that he's the lesser of the three evils...but far from what I believe the correct canidate should be endorsing.
I just hope that one day someone will run as true conservative on the principals that made this country great. I agree with Carl on a few things, we need to secure the borders, make English the primary and only language for the United states and make it a requirement that you need to speak and understand it in order to get a drivers liscence, reform aid given to illegal immigrants and others that include welfare, food stamps, and medical aid.

Just do a web search for Obama and you'll find plenty of sites and videos of him listening to preachers speak bad about how the white man is keeping the black man down and what not. I don't know the man personally. This is why I said, "internet propaganda"

I've seen some videos of his speeches talking about how he is going to change things for the black race and to make america a better place for the black people. He needs to be talking about making it a better place for all people.
You know, he was born here, but spent most of his childhood in Kenya or some other 3rd world country.

An email I received:
Subject: Thesis - Michele Obama aka Michelle LaVaughn Robinson
OBAMA'S MILITANT RACISM REVEALED
In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack
Obama stated that America was a nation founded on "crime and hatred".
Moreover, she stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist". The 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.
Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to "Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, "If those "Whites at Princeton” really saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave them that impression".
Most alarming is Michele Obama's use of the terms "separationist" and "integrationist" when describing the views of black people.
Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a "separationist" view of race.
"By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight."
Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and
social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant." Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder. Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America, but she elevates black over white in her world.
Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning:
"There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost.
What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she's first lady that will elevate black over white in America?
The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration. "Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students
comprising the bulk of their enrollments."
The conclusion of her thesis is alarming. Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin. "I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility."
Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input.
Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another. The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama's thoughts and world view seen through a race-based prism.
This is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration.
Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern. Now maybe she's changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind with America. Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will. But it shouldn't.
FYI:
I am not a supporter of any of the candidates for president. In fact, they all leave a bad taste in my mouth. However, I am definitely sick of the main stream media (MSM) feeding us all this crap about Obama being an agent of change. Has anyone stopped to think what kind of change; really?
PS: We paid for her scholarship.

I'm not going to vote in this election. This will be the first time I did not vote.
Just cannot see a reason to. Every one of the candidates just need to :wack-it:
That way when the S##T hits the fan I can blame everyone who voted that politician in.
No matter who you vote for the S##T is going to hit the fan with the 3 idiots we have left to choose from.

Agree X2
The way I see it today is the Repub and Demos running for office will tell you what you want to hear and get the country divided in half fighting with each other but they are going to do what the big corporation's want done. Not what you and I want. They will do whatever is needed so the MONEY keeps flowing their direction. They don't give a rats ass about you or I.

I think Fred and I had this discussion a few weeks ago - What happened to common sense? Why is it strangely absent from all political conversations this election?
My "big three" issues this election are:
Balanced budget? Does there need to be debate on this? My household won't last with an imbalanced budget and neither will yours. Why does the US Government think it can?
Borders? We are being invaded from the south and our infrastructure is being stressed to the max. Should we seal the borders up? Should we make it impossible for illegals to function in this country? Doesn't even need to be debated.
Healthcare. As some of you know, I make my living in the healthcare sector and I obviously don't want that disturbed. I believe something needs to be done to provide basic healthcare to those who don't have insurance. Thanks to government legislation, medical facilities are forced to treat ANYONE that strolls into the emergency room. However, the govt doesn't provide a means for the facility to recoup those costs anywhere. So, they get passed along to the people who do pay.
The financial burden of the indigent population needs to be removed from the medical facilities as a lot are struggling and it's making it more expensive for everyone else. That being said, we have the BEST healthcare in the world. To turn it all over to the government is just silly. Our government can't do ANYTHING efficiently, yet we want them to run healthcare? No way.
So, I'll be voting for whoever embraces my big three - which currently is no one. Except Guff on a write-in vote.

I saw on the news the other day that the national debt is increasing by $1,000,000 a minute. So insane it seems to far fetched to be true. Don't get me started on the foreign lenders that we depend on. Sad when you have 3 seperate secret facilities so that no matter what you can keep borrowing money.
Funny how the government comes down on the mortgage industry for their underhanded practices. Pot...kettle...black. (Disclaimer: In no way is the word "black" used as a racist comment. However, the pot and the kettle are both very proud of their heritage and have been given the month of February to celebrate.)

Country is too far gone. We are all fucked.
Sadly I agree with this.
We will never go back. We've left our borders open and now decendants of Hispanic immigrants are firmly rooted in our local and national governments. This means that our national leaders will never take a truly firm stance against immigration as it would go against many registered voters. Many people will vote for Obama simply because he is black, many will vote for Hillary because she is a woman. IMO this it truly disgusting, but it's human nature I suppose. I'm still up in the air myself, at this point I don't like any of them (although I respect McCain for his service record), I will watch the debates and once again, choose the lesser of two evils.

The ILLEGAL immigration issue will never be solved correctly for the American populous. The democrats see potential voters and the Republicans see their biggest contributors having cheap labor.

Contrary to popular belief, Hawaii is not a 3rd-world country ;)
Obama spent many years in Hawaii and graduated from The Punahou Academy, one of the best private high schools in the nation. Steve Case, founder of AOL, also attended this same school... as did my lovely bride.
I'm not an Obama supporter but I can attest to the level of education he received as a teen. And they put on one helluva carnival every year...
I also agree that this country is too far fuk'd to ever go back to how it was. :riped: I guess this is what happens when the Hippie generation grows up and gets put in charge

LOL Shane, that is funny!!
After Bill left office and there were rumors that Mrs. C. would run for president, I vowed I'd move to Australia if Hilary ever got to be prez. I'm very fearful that I actually have to consider that.
While I also don't like all 3, to me it seems McCain is the lesser of the evils. Hilary is, well, Hilary and Obama is way too radical. He also doesn't have much experience. So, there you have it. An f'ed up country with three f ups running for the nomination. What to do?
Chad82GT

I like the moving to Australia idea. Well, up until they nix'd their president for standing up to immigrant cultures that don't assimilate into Austrialian culture... you know, kind of what we wish OUR president would do. I lost some respect for the Aussies when I heard that. Up until then I'd seen them as a people not affraid to enforce what they stand for.
It's probably still 1,000x times better than here, they have some bad ass performance RWD V8 cars running around, and you can always throw another shrimp on the barbie!
